Arrival from Kushok Bakula Airport (IXL)
Distance from Airport: Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport (IXL) is located exactly 4.8 kilometers from our Changspa Road workshop (approx. 12 to 15 minutes drive).
Prepaid Union Taxi Counter: Upon exiting the arrival terminal, walk to the official Leh Taxi Union prepaid booth directly outside the exit doors. Request a cab to Changspa Road. The fixed union tariff is ₹400 to ₹500. Avoid outside unmetered private brokers inside the arrival hall.
Altitude Caution: You land at 10,682 ft from sea level in just 75 minutes from Delhi. Do not exert yourself or lift heavy luggage quickly. Take slow breaths and drink warm water immediately upon landing.
