Because we verify our fleet mechanically and vet all renters directly, we do not freeze your holiday cash. We enforce a zero cash security deposit policy on direct reservations, saving you ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 upfront.
The 40-Point Pre-Departure Safety Protocol
Before any motorcycle leaves our Changspa gates, it must clear our five-stage pre-departure inspection log signed off by Chief Mechanic Stanzin Dorje.
Thin-Air Fuel & Induction System Check
Purge fuel tank water traps; ultrasonic clean fuel injector nozzle; inspect throttle body return spring tension; clean high-flow air filter element of fine Changthang silt; verify fuel pump prime pressure at 3.0 bar.
High-Pass Braking & Fluid Moisture Test
Test DOT 4 brake fluid moisture content with electronic boiling point tester (rejecting fluid >2% moisture to prevent vapor lock on steep Khardung La descents); inspect brake pad thickness (minimum 3.5mm required); bleed air from Bybre/Brembo calipers.
Chassis, Wheel & Spoke Tension Verification
Torque swingarm pivot bolts and engine mounting stays to factory spec; tap-test all 72 wire spokes for acoustic tension balance; verify wheel bearing free play; check front fork stanchions for dust seal weeping.
Sub-Zero Electrical & Battery Cranking Health
Test 12V AGM/Lithium battery under 100A cold load test (ensuring reliable morning starts at -10°C in Pangong or Sarchu); verify stator charging output at 14.2V; inspect headlamp, LED indicators, and dual-horn alert relays.
Luggage Mounts & Auxiliary Fuel Integrity
Inspect crash guard mounting weld points; verify high-tensile bolts on saddle stays and tail racks; mount and clamp heavy-duty auxiliary jerrycan brackets; check tire pressures to 25 PSI front / 32 PSI rear (for rocky terrain compliance).

Under UT Ladakh Transport Department regulations and the Ladakh Motor Bike Rental Association (LMBRA) union charter, all rental motorcycles operating on internal sightseeing circuits (Khardung La, Nubra Valley, Pangong Tso, Tso Moriri, Hanle) must carry commercial yellow number plates registered in UT Ladakh (LA-02 registration).
Renting an outside-state rental bike (DL, HP, PB, HR, CH, UK plates) or an illegal private white-plate bike will result in immediate impoundment at South Pullu or Karu checkpoints by union task forces.
